In the video, I tested these two DirectX versions in 8 different games using my old GPU, the R7 260X. Now, you might be wondering why I'm using an older GPU instead of the latest and greatest. Well, that's because I want to show you how even with older hardware, you can still get some decent performance and see the impact of DirectX versions.
Of course, there are differences between DirectX 11 and DirectX 12 performance-wise. Some games might see a significant boost with DirectX 12, while others might not show as much of a difference. It all depends on how well the game is optimized for each version.
